(More customer reviews)I purchased this case for my HTC touch pro. It did not fit. The case was too small. I then contacted Boxwave for resolution and they told me to return the product. Their website says they reimburse shipping costs in cases of false advertisement and I assumed that an HTC touch pro case not fitting an HTC touch pro would fall under that category but after 11 excruciating days of discussions through email, I am told by Boxwave that they will not reimburse me for shipping, they will not send an exchange phone and they are refunding me for the purchase price of the case. I wasted a total of $18.45 on shipping costs from the purchase and the return of the case. I shipped the product back to Boxwave on 2/18, UPS confirms that it was delivered, but I still have not received my refund.
Also, after discussing my issue for several days, boxwave offered to send me a return shipping label, but the whole point of my emails to them was to ask for reimbursement on my return shipping. I had even attached the receipt on a previous email. Also, be advised that Boxwave does not have a customer service telephone number listed anywhere on their website which even further demonstrates Boxwave's completely apathetic stance on customer service.
Needless to say, I am extremely dissatisfied with both the product and the customer service for this item. From now on, I will take extreme caution to be sure that I never purchase any Boxwave product ever again and I will advise everyone I know to do the same.

(More customer reviews)I can buy one $30 case, and then worry about that getting damaged. For $9 I can buy this one, that protects what's really important. I don't jump up and down on the thing, so after a month it's still doing the one thing it's supposed to be doing.
Yes, it's getting scratched, and I didn't like that it wasn't *completely* black; I took a Sharpie to the edges that were showing white. Biggum dealum. But I'd have to go through 3 or 4 of these to make up the money on one of the other expensive cases.
I'm sure the Seidio is good as well, but for that money, it's kind of missing the point.

I do not see cases like this everyday, so if you want people to notice your phone, then this is DEFINITELY the case for you. On another note, this company is very pleasant to work with. It has been awhile since I have worked with a company as courteous and helpful as BoxWave. There are a lot of company's today who claim that they are all about customer service, but BoxWave did what those company's claim to do and more! I have to give them 10 **STARS** hands down, for quality service and a product that was kind of like eye candy! Keep up the great work BoxWave!

I like being able to charge the battery without using the phone to charge it. When I run out of power, I simply turn it off and replace the battery with the spare one. This method works well so far (its been a month).

(More customer reviews)I've been looking for a new phone for a long time now (my previous phone was the Razor) and this is the phone I decided to buy to make the switch to a smartphone. This phone has possibly the best non-touchscreen design in the world. The phone fits great in the hand, and everything about it screams high-quality.
Some pros and cons:
Slide out keyboard:
+ Great sized keyboard, possibly the best thing about this phone is how easy it is to type on this keyboard.
- Minor complaint: A fifth row for numbers would have been nice, but the phone does have a number pad right on the front that you can use to avoid pressing the function button
- Minor complaint: They could have easily made the spacebar bigger.
Face:
+ The buttons above the number pad are very easy to press (they put the HTC Fuze to shame)
- Possibly the only legitimate drawback of this phone is the screen, it isn't as large or as high resolution as some touch phones out there. If you're buying the phone for games or videos, this isn't the phone for you.

Body:
+ Overall construction of this phone is high caliber. It makes most Nokia phones feel like a kids toy.
+ The back of the phone is made of a soft material that feels good in the hand, and doesn't attract smudges or scratches.
- Minor complaints: the battery cover is a little hard to take off, and the microSD card slot is underneath the SIM card. These are both things that you'll be doing rarely though.
Software:
It runs WM 6.1 Standard, and it behaves pretty much exactly like you would expect it to. Not much to say here.
It may seem like I'm complaining more than I should be for a phone that deserves a 5 star rating, but the truth is that the positive aspects of this phone far outweigh the few complaints I have.
The reason I bought this phone is for the same reason that I originally bought the Razor, although it doesn't take 10 megapixel pictures and allow you to take calls underwater, it does succeed with both style and design.
Finally, if you're interested in this phone also read the reviews for the HTC S740, because it's almost the exact same phone.

Durable Clear Reusable LCD Screen Protector - 3 Packs for HTC Touch Pro Smartphone Review

(More customer reviews)These screen protectors are ease to put on the phone. They come in separate bags, which one of them include the screen protector, a soft cloth and a little plastic card. The screen protectors have three layers so you can touch them without a problem before putting it on the phone. When you are ready to use it you just remove the back layer and place the protector on the screen ( it matches good), then remove the top layer and that's it. I've using the same screen protector for about a month and it has no scratches or anything like that, it looks like new, so I don't know then I'm going to use the 2 screen protectors I have left.

(More customer reviews)On paper, this phone has superior hardware and technical specifications compared to most other phones. It also has a current price that's much more than the iPhone and many other phones or pocket PCs.Unfortunately, with this phone, the software provided doesn't come close to taking full advantage of the hardware.
The video and other processing performance is sub-par and worse than earlier models of HTC phones. Though they supplied the hardware, HTC didn't include the driver software necessary to take advantage of this phones high-end processor potential. Primary processing speed is slower than many other phones (even when compared to phones with slower and cheaper CPU's) because of the driver issues and the fact that the new iPhone type user interface (called TouchFlo), is first-generation-clunky.If you aren't particularly interested in watching a lot of video on your phone, the video driver problem is of no consequence. However, the slower TouchFlo interface may be an irritant (four taps on the icon to open a program instead of one). For such an expensive product with a relatively fast processor, it should outperform every other phone on the market . . . but it doesn't come close.
Initially, HTC wouldn't commit to providing updated software to solve the performance problems. Very recently an HTC executive noted that HTC had changed its mind and will eventually provide "video acceleration software," as an alternative to providing better video drivers, and software as an update for the Touch Cruise. Unfortunately, when I called, HTC would not provide an estimated release date for the updates.
I'm not a big Apple fan, but with the iPhone 3G due out in July of 2008,I think most that are interested in this phone should wait a little longer to spend so much money.

(More customer reviews)You can be fooled by the photo of a Sprint phone and the words in the title "HTC Touch Pro", for I received them for my Sprint HTC Touch Pro and they DO NOT FIT.
I wrote them an email and they sent me the right one. Still not a perfect fit as the one that came with the phone, but it works. So I'll change my rating to 4 stars from one star.
You should somehow let them know, at the time of order, your provider to avoid the hassle I went through.

The car charger is great, but the silicone skin cover is not so great. Because this phone has a sliding keepboard the cover has this cheap plastic grove and tongue clasp and it doesn't stay together.
