I occasionally notice some scratches on the TechSkin itself, but the screen seems to self-heal(?) and they disappear fairly quickly. The feel of the TechSkin is somewhat less desirable than the original screen and it isn't as smooth when running your finger across it; it feels the TINIEST bit tacky when using the phone. But that is an acceptable trade off for the added protection, and it will be easy to get used to.
This is my first time installing a "wet" screen protector on any electronic device, and I was a little hesitant. "Wait, I'm supposed to put this soaking wet piece of plastic ONTO my phone?!?" Yes, yes you are. If you follow the instructions (although they aren't the clearest to follow), and keep your finger tips wet with the solution, then it will be pretty easy - just have a little patience. I really liked how I could maneuver the wet screen protector while it was on the phone to get it into the exact place I wanted - and no fingerprints! Also, don't forget to get all of the dirt and dust off the screen first. I found a can of compressed air to be useful.
I may have used too much solution on the application, but the larger water bubbles underneath the TechSkin took a good 2-3 days to completely disappear. However, most of the screen was dried, all the small bubbles were gone, and my phone was usable in about 14 hours.
Overall, I am pleased. It may not be PERFECT, but its the best screen protector I've ever used. No more of this peel-and-stick and hope-it-lines-up garbage!
