Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for LG Cosmos Touch Review

Bought this protector for my wife's new LG Cosmos Touch. Quality product with great packaging..Product application was easy, and the instructions supplied were straight forward. Read the instructions, take your time, and the results will be good. Don't worry about any minor micro bubbles left, as they go away in about a week. It's crystal clear. If the wife is happy, I'm happy.

LG Cosmos Screen Protector (LG VN250) Review

I have used a number of screen protectors for my phone and this one seems to be one of the better ones. Covers most of the front on the LG VN250. Edges are rounded to keep them from lifting off and catching on things. The back is fairly sticky making a good bond.

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for T-Mobile HTC G2 Review

The protector applies nicely if the instructions are followed. When I first peeled mine off of the backing, it had striations that looked like the adhesive had not been applied uniformly. However, these disappeared along with other streaks in a little over 24 hours. I did have one spot that seems to have a trapped particle that was not apparent before the setup dried, but unless the screen is dark (off) it is not noticable.
I applied this to my G2 that also has a case protector and there were no interference issues. The case overlaps the edge of the phone and should hopefully protect the edges of this screen shield from getting peeled up when placed in my pocket over time.
My only gripe, as others have noted, is the "lifetime warranty". The customer pays shipping both ways, and also a "restocking fee" if I correctly understand the terms on web site. I can understand the company desiring you to return your old protector to minimize fraud, but why on earth would a used screen protector get "restocked"???
By the time you have paid shipping and fees - you can just buy another on here for $10.
This is a good product, I wish the manufacturer would clean up their marketing ethics (is that an oxymoron?) because in my opinion it would improve their overall reputation. Then again, maybe I'm not their target demographic.

BoxWave Slim Rubberized Pre Plus Shell Case (Burgundy Blush (complete open screen)) Review

I loved the color on this cover but sadly it only lasted about 2 weeks. The clips that are supposed to hold on to the phone were weak plastic peices that eventually broke off and can no longer stay on or protect my phone. Would not waste your money on this product. Wait until a better one comes out.

BoxWave Samsung Nexus S ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack) Review

I have the Boxwave Active Case for my Nokia E61 and love it. Most cases make your phone "feel" bigger than it really is because they add an extra layer of dark-colored plastic/leather/silicon/whatever. Not so with the clear case. This is about the same thickness as others, but the fact that it is clear and colorless makes it almost invisible.
Since I love my e61 case so much, I decided to buy one of these cases for my wife's SLVR. The case itself is really nice, and comes with two lanyards; one for your wrist, and one for your neck, both of which are interchangeable via snap-style connector. However, a couple of days later I noticed the my wife had removed the case and was using her old one, complaining that she could no longer hear the phone. After investigating, I found that the case was designed in such a way that it covers most of the ear-speaker, reducing volume by more than half. Very disappointing indeed.
I plan to do a little surgery with my drill to see if I can improve the sound. Hopefully they will change their design so that others don't have to change it for them :)
As for ratings and recommendations... I do recommend the Active Cases from Boxwave, just not this one.

Well...It's more like a segment of a radio antenna, with rubber tips , than a stylus.
Came with a little dent on the side( as any cheap radio antenna) but hey....I wasn't expecting a silver coated low density alloy rod...
I does the trick....

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for Nexus One Review

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for Nexus One

This is a heavy duty screen protector that works really well, and unlike other screen protectors I've tried in the past on other phones this one seems like it could last forever after having installed it properly. I have 2 Nexus One phones and I will purchase a 2nd for my other phone. Personally, the thick rubberized feel makes typing on the touch keyboard seem more responsive, and comfortable, because the naked glass screen is otherwise so slick that every time I lightly touch it my fingers slip ever so slightly if only a millimeter, which could be enough from time to time to register a wrong keystroke. However I have to dock the product a star because there are still visible micro-bubbles underneath the screen protector after 3 days. The maker claims that they will disappear after a few days, and although their visibility seems diminished I remain skeptical that they will disappear completely(not a deal breaker for me).
In response to critics of the product that have a major hangup of using water in the application process, the product comes with a fine mist sprayer meant to lubricate the sticky side of the film so that all the air pockets can be easily pressed out by sliding a plastic card across the screen after the protector is installed. This is an ingenious method, because when this is done the air pockets disappear so easily, ultimately making installation easier than other protectors I've used. Consequently collected water is also pressed out, so have a paper towel or lens paper handy to catch the excess water so it doesn't reach the speaker or the scroll ball. In the event that water does reach these areas it's no big deal because it's only small droplets whose surface tension will prevent them from seeping into these small holes on the device. On top of that the product maker also recommends not turning on your device for 12 to 24 hours, I assume as a precautionary measure. But instead of waiting 12 hours, I chose to use a hair dryer carefully alternating between the low and cool setting as to not cause heat damage to the screen, while drying out any potential moisture seeped into these areas. During this process I periodically pressed the screen to my cheek to check the temperature to make sure the phone wasn't heating up.

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for Samsung Focus Review

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for Samsung Focus

The Skinomi TechSkin works very well in protecting my phone. I occasionally notice some scratches on the TechSkin itself, but the screen seems to self-heal(?) and they disappear fairly quickly. The feel of the TechSkin is somewhat less desirable than the original screen and it isn't as smooth when running your finger across it; it feels the TINIEST bit tacky when using the phone. But that is an acceptable trade off for the added protection, and it will be easy to get used to.
This is my first time installing a "wet" screen protector on any electronic device, and I was a little hesitant. "Wait, I'm supposed to put this soaking wet piece of plastic ONTO my phone?!?" Yes, yes you are. If you follow the instructions (although they aren't the clearest to follow), and keep your finger tips wet with the solution, then it will be pretty easy - just have a little patience. I really liked how I could maneuver the wet screen protector while it was on the phone to get it into the exact place I wanted - and no fingerprints! Also, don't forget to get all of the dirt and dust off the screen first. I found a can of compressed air to be useful.
I may have used too much solution on the application, but the larger water bubbles underneath the TechSkin took a good 2-3 days to completely disappear. However, most of the screen was dried, all the small bubbles were gone, and my phone was usable in about 14 hours.
Overall, I am pleased. It may not be PERFECT, but its the best screen protector I've ever used. No more of this peel-and-stick and hope-it-lines-up garbage!
