(More customer reviews)I should have realized from the name but still was surprised at how shiny this case is. It's like a mirror finish and didn't like the look for me. It fit well and I liked the padding inside but it felt like really lightweight plastic and I worried about how the finish would wear. I got a smudge on the back and it was hard to wipe off. Ultimately I decided to return this item to Amazon.

PDO Silk Slider Case for iPhone 4 (AT&T and Verizon) - Black Review

(More customer reviews)I initially got introduced to the Silk Slider cases by a friend who gave me one for my iPod Touch, and after using it for a while, I bought it immediately for my new iPhone 4. The case is extremely well made, it fits the iPhone perfectly, and the inside of the case is padded with soft material, which prevents scratches. The exterior has a soft texture without being slippery, it's actually very nice to the touch. Since it's a hard case it protects the device extremely well against falls and scratches, and it does not block access to the buttons and connectors. The only problem I have had is with my Phillips DLA47000 stand, which I love, but that with the case on fails to make proper contact with the iPhone's dock connector (this wasn't a problem with the iPod Touch because of its rounded backside). In cases like this, the case allows you to take off the bottom part (which covers slightly less than 1/4th of the device), leaving completely unimpeded access to the connector.
The case came with an included screen protector, however I found that the screen protector gets dirtier and smudgier than the iPhone screen, so I have decided to take it off and just be careful. I prefer to enjoy the iPhone 4's screen in its full glory.
All in all I can very highly recommend this case for the iPhone 4.

(More customer reviews)I've had several products from Seidio and was always pleased with their quality, however, this time I was disappointed and returned it. I have an iphone 4 and bought this case in a great color, but the case did not fit well. It slipped on fairly easy but also slipped off about every time I attempted to use the phone.
I would not recommend this case for the iphone 4.

Just by having it in my pocket the paint smeared and dirt stuck to it and wouldn't come off. It was pretty cheap so I couldn't expect it to be perfect but I definitely won't be using it anymore because it looks dirty and cheap.

It stains from daily use when handling the phone. It looked 100 years old after just a couple of weeks of use. But it is slip free (another positive). I would buy another one, but only in black or another dark color.

Incase iPhone 4 Slider Case - Gloss (AT&T & Verizon) (White) Review

(More customer reviews)I went through three screen protectors using this case.
The case is so tight that the protectors bubble up on the sides and corners. While you can push them down for a while, they eventually stop sticking to the iPhone.
I thought it was possible that I was aligning the screen protector incorrectly--so I took it to the Apple store and had them apply the screen protector and put the case on--same problem.
I even emailed the manufacturer, incase, and asked if any screen protector was compatible with the case. They replied, very coldly, that there were not and that any protector I had on the screen should be removed because the case was not designed to accommodate screen protectors.
I don't know about anyone else, but I spent enough money on my iPhone to want to protect the phone AND the screen. And there are plenty of cases out there that will let me do just that. I ended up with the Speck Geometric case, which was recommended to me at the Apple store. So far so good!

(More customer reviews)Kind words - I like ugly industrial things, it DID protect my phone when I dropped it.
Not so kind - I dropped it once and it will never latch again. It's made of low grade aluminum - aircraft quality my patootie. It's like one of those covered clipboards, but cheaper.
What I got doesn't really look like the photos - hinge is on the bottom, not the side, fewer grill openings. Maybe that's why the price dropped...
It came with a plastic screen cover that in no way was touch screen compatible. Think plexiglass. I removed that and it does work - had to patch the rubber coating inside back together, though.
For $9.99 you get what you pay for.

I ended up selecting the Black MiVizu 2-piece case, as it appears to be "protective" than the other two, which one happens to be this BoxWave Stealth Fiber iPhone 4 Case (Jet Black). One of my friends (mentioned in another review) had a LG Touch VX11000 Verizon cell, with a screen that went DOA, on one of her busiest days, so she just purchased a new iPhone 4 ... and I gave her this Fiber case. First of all, this is dead simple to attach to the cell as it is a low-profile, one-piece case, that just snaps
into place very easily. Tip - Open the sides very carefully, then snap one side first, then the other, and check around ALL the edges to make sure it is completely 'seated'.
Pro's - Good points about it
* BoxWave - I'm a Big Fan!
* ultra low profile case, with a nice textured 'feel' and finish.
* simple to attach
* constructed out of hard plastic - protects from scratches and bumps.
* features cutouts for all buttons and controls.
* you won't ever have to take it off and it is as if it is just part of the phone.
Con's - Needs Improvement or re-design
* This type of case is for those that really, really take care of their 'stuff', as I don't think that this case would protect the phone accidentally hitting concrete or tile or black top.
* I would like to see a 2-piece "version", like the MiVizu
* Lower price point

It was loose fitting and did not cover the bottom area of the phone as pictured. However, I received my money back when I mentioned that the case was not what I had wanted, so I am satisfied with that.

I have one by the same maker for my Android phone as well - it's great too. Good gripping material that is sort of a matte rubber which feels good and reduces slippage, fits well on the phone in terms of leaving ample access to the buttons. Stays securely in place. I haven't dropped my phone yet, so haven't tested that performance, but all signs pointing to turning out well.
