(More customer reviews)I must admit after reading a few of the reviews for this product I was concerned about the quality. I used the platnium series HEC20SB case originally. When the platnium series case cracked after a few drops I searched for alternative.
This case provides the security of the otter box defender case but not as bulky. The case fits securely around my phone with no shifting. The screen protector part of the case appears dirty at times, which is a little anoying, and taking the case apart to clean it is some what of a task. The phone can sit face down without the screen touching the surface. The edges of the screen can be difficult to touch due to the raised edges. The case protects the camers from touching the surface, as well, when laying face up. Getting to the ear phone jack can be a little time consuming at first until you get used to the flaps.
One of the reasons I purchased this product is because it protects the open ports of the phone.
Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and the fast shipping service received from the seller.

(More customer reviews)This case was adorable but wayyyy to chunky, and it made it difficult to use the keyboard as well as swipe down your notification bar on screen. I got it to protect my phone and it definitley did that, also I was worried it would feel cheap and it doesent. The little stones don't come off easily either. Although, the whole case won't come off easily either. It took me, literally, five minutes to get it off so I could take the battery out of my phone. Oh, and I've had cases where you couldn't charge your phone, but this one you can do that and the camera works and all that stuff. Its great and cute, just really chunky.

The product does leave the device susceptible to hard reboots while in a pocket due to the large protruding buttons, and dust builds up in the light/proxy sensor window.
The product also doesnt have a window for the forward camera, for those who bought the vibrant 4g or installed it into their 3g (which makes it 4g anyway)
The case is too thick on the front, making portrait input very difficult.
very sturdy, fits in the hand very well, and doesnt fall apart like many other cases do. the audio jack port works well with many of the oversized jacks that seem to be coming out recently (ie - best buy line in/mp3)
recommended for anyone who wants to protect their device from falls and minor moisture/drenching.

I spend a lot of time outdoors jamming my phone in and out of my pockets so this case works great to keep out the dust and debris. The rubber out-casing is fairly thick and seems to absorb impact well if you drop your phone. It's very easy to assemble over your phone and take off when you don't want the added bulk. The screen protector that comes attached to the case isn't the greatest. It's just a thin piece of semi-ridgid plastic that seems to hold onto finger and face prints without a lot of responsiveness. I would recommend for anyone to take that screen cover out and go to a shopping mall and have Ghost Armor installed on the screen. It looks a lot better on the screen and has a better "feel" when using the phone.
My biggest, and only, dislike of the case is how it encroaches on the sides of the screen. It stands out almost 1/4 and inch off the phone surface. It makes it hard to use the edges of the screen for typing or web surfing. It's not impossible, just not as easy as not having a case on your phone. The price you pay for a little security I guess.

GRAY for Trident Cyclops Samsung Vibrant Hard Case Review

(More customer reviews)The case comes in two parts with one being a harder plastic that and the other being a softer rubber that encases the edge of the phone.
The harder plastic, interior shell comes in two pieces that clip together. Once clasped these two pieces hold together very well, and take a deliberate effort to pry apart. The harder plastic interior has very well fit openings for the speaker, light sensor, microphone, camera lens, and receiver speaker. Around that harder plastic case is the rubber edge piece that acts as a bumper for the phone.
This rubber edge piece has openings for the micro-USB and audio ports, and the openings have flaps that raise to expose them and then become very flush with the bumper when closed. The power and volume buttons are pressed with raised "nubs" on the rubber bumper piece, and these nubs are very precise.
The screen is protected with a clear plastic cover that really isn't all that great. It does the job and protects from the faint scratching that can occur, but it gets dirty very quickly and isn't all that easy to clean. And just as with any screen protector that you put on a Vibrant it also slightly detracts from the brilliance of the Vibrant's screen.
The biggest knock with the case is that the Vibrant by itself is a great form factor and slides very easily in and out of pockets, but unfortunately with all those goodies encasing the phone it ends up being a little too bulky. On top of the bulk the rubber bumper around the edge of the phone is a lint magnet, so I find myself constantly cleaning and sometimes it can get annoying.
It misses the 5/5 because of the bulk and lint trap factor, but it does exactly what I wanted and protects the phone from drops, scratches, and any other accident you can think of. A must have if you want to ensure that your phone is going to remain as it was out of the box.

I've purchased otterbox cases in the past for other phones and compatibly this case is better. It's just as protective, looks/feel great (more colors to choose from) and the trident costs less.
