(More customer reviews)This is the best case I have found for Verizon's new iphone 4. The footprint is so small that it fits into our windshield mount with no problems at all. Despite its thinness, it seems to really protect the device well. What I especially liked about it is the fact that the front lip is so low profile, that it does not interfere with the screen protector, unlike other phone cases like the Spreko hard gel cover that ruined the $20 Zagg screen protector because it lifted the edges. Although it's thin, it's very sturdy and my wife appreciated the Apple logo showing through the back. It does not interfere at all with the physical buttons, the connecting ports, nor with using the screen, since there's practically no lip on it. Other cases add a fat lip on the front, which makes it more cumbersome to type on the screen. Overall, you can't even tell the phone is wearing a case when you are using it.
I read some reviews that complain this case gets dirty and is hard/impossible to clean. I somewhat agree, as it is hard to remove smudges from it. However, this case spends a lot of time in the hands of our 3-year-old daughter, and I must say that I am impressed at how well it has resisted staining. However, I did purchase a dark brown edition to replace this one when it finally looks unhygienic (which it seems it will be inevitable). However, for the price, it has been well worth the investment. Speaking of our daughter, she has dropped the phone a couple of times, and this case has done a magnificent job, unlike the two-piece on my Droid X that flies apart when my daughter drops it (I know what many of you are thinking.."YOU LET A 3-YEAR-OLD PLAY WITH THOSE EXPENSIVE DEVICES?!?!?!" All I can say, is get your own toddler and try to keep your phones away from them, and two, if you do have small children, don't download Angry Birds!)
I confidently recommend this phone case. It does its job very well, and is far less bulky than most alternatives that provide decent protection. For the price, you can get a couple of different colors for what a single case of comparable quality would cost you.
