Seidio Innocase Surface Combo Hard Case & Holster for Motorola Droid 2 - Red Review

Seidio did a great job designing this to be compatible with all the functions on the Droid 2. I was tempted to go for a cheaper alternative, but this case/holster is worth every penny of the thirty dollars I paid. I constantly listen to internet radio on my phone, and this holster fits snugly on my belt while leaving an opening for the headphone jack. The standard BP6x batteries on this phone only last about four to five hours under heavy use, so I take this case off to change the battery about three times every day. I find it fairly easy to remove the case for this purpose, and it has yet to break from being constantly removed.

Seidio SURFACE Case & Holster Combo for Motorola Droid 2/Droid 2 Global - Sapphire Blue Review

The Case: This is my third case that I've had on my droid 2 global and by far it is the best. It's hard to make a decent case for these slider phones since the cases have to come clamshell style but this one is worth every penny. It fits snug with no gaps in the back for the extra life battery which I have no interest in getting right now. I have heard though that the extra life battery should fit if you leave the phones back cover off and just put the case over it.
The Clip: so far no problems but it is the reason i only gave this case 4 stars instead of 5. There's slight discomfort at the hip if you plan on wearing this on your belt. I only wear it on my belt if i'm wearing dress slacks or need to look professional. otherwise I normally wear the clip off the corner of my jean pocket. The discomfort comes from the top latch of the clip and how it hooks on the back of the clip. It's just a bit bulky up there but it does a great job holding the phone in and the phone latches in face in so that you don't scratch your phone on random objects.
All in all best case so far in my opinion (5 stars without the clip). Already purchased another without the clip for my fiancée's phone.

Otterbox Motorola DROID 2 Commuter Series Case Review

Just as a brief rant: People, please only write a review and rate the product if you HAVE the product and have used the product. Whether or not it was shipped on time or whatever has NOTHING to do with the product. If someone sent you the WRONG product, that should not effect your rating of THIS product. Save that for rating the seller. If I hadn't seen so many bad reviews on Amazon for this product, I probably would have ordered it online and saved a bit of money. [Expletive]. Anyway...
Pros:
-Doesn't add much bulk. In fact I think it adds just enough to make it more comfortable in your hands.
-protects the ports very well, while still allowing access to them.
-screen protector is a very nice addition.
-And the rubber bulges on the side actual make the buttons easier to feel. I like that a lot, actually. Before I was always stumbling about for the right buttons.
Cons:
-Doesn't have a clip for a belt.
-Could use a few rubber dots on the back to keep it from sliding when placed on its back.
Now, it's a very nice case. I've seen things on here about the top part not staying on very well. Not true. It stays on quite well. Takes a bit of force to get it off, in fact. Don't know about whether it will fit into a dock. Guy in Verizon said it wouldn't. I'm thinking of getting a dock for my Droid, in which case will probably just have to take off the back portion (which isn't much trouble). And I haven't dropped it yet, but the phone seems very secure and the case seems very durable. I will probably shop around for a good belt pouch that will fit it and I'll be all set. Oh, and I cannot comment on whether it will accommodate an extended battery. Hope this helps. Don't let so many negative reviews on here prevent you from getting this. :/
