(More customer reviews)Its a replacement battery, works fine. There are plenty of how-to guides on the Internet. I'd recommend a specialty screw driver set as it needs a 0000 philips screw driver. Most 'jeweler' kits don't have a driver that small, so be aware. That is literally the only tool needed to replace the battery on a 3G/3Gs.

(More customer reviews)If you can handle tiny Apple screws and minuscule ribbon cables then this is for you. Use a suction cup to pull the screen from the case (see you tube for examples of this procedure). Ribbon cable 3 which attached screen to main board is very tiny and you will need flat tweezers to reinstall it. Supplied instructions are not good enough to do this procedure and are printed on a tiny piece of paper. Other than those caveats, its working fine for me.
