(More customer reviews)Up until now I haven't used a screen protector for my iphone 3GS since the screen is glass, but I decided to pick one up after using one with a matte finish. I just liked the way it felt and the fact that it reduced the finger smudges. I did a little research and decided to go with this one...and I'm glad I did. The fit and finish is great. For the most part it's the same size as the iphone screen so it shouldn't interfere with any cases. I'm using the CaseCrown two-piece case that covers the silver edge of the phone and it does not interfere with the screen protector.
A few things:
1. Before applying, make sure your screen is clean, free of smudges and lint.
2. Hold the edges of the protector as you apply it so you don't get any finger prints on the sticky side. I'm not sure if they would show or not due to the matte finish, but it doesn't hurt.
3. I started applying the protector around the home button on the iphone so it would be centered. Then I went up from there.
I would recommend buying two protectors in case you mess up the first one (for the price, it's a no brainer). Somehow a piece of red lint ended up in the middle of the screen. Not a huge deal and I can only really see it if I look for it, but still...

(More customer reviews)This is my first iPhone, but I have friends that have iPhones, and I thought all the oily fingerprints on their phones looked pretty disgusting. I bought this screen protector mostly because PhoneDevil had the best iPhone 3G reviews about reducing fingerprints. I decided to take a chance with its iPhone 4 protector. Well, I must applaud myself on my decision. I hardly ever have to clean off my screen, and even when I do the fingerprints, for some chemically enhanced reason that goes beyond my neophyte understanding, don't look bad at all.
Also, it was easy to put on, was unaffected by the Apple bumper, and is entirely invisible to my admiring friends. I usually prefer reviews that give both the good and bad, but I really can't find anything bad about this product. I guess it would be nice if somehow there weren't any fingerprints left on the screen at all. Maybe that's possible, and I even read about a screen protector that does that. It was an SGP product, but all the reviewers complained that the screen reduced the clarity of the retina display. I'm quite the mysophobe, and fingerprints and smudges totally gross me out, but the PhoneDevil protector makes them barely an issue. For my fellow mysophobes, maybe the SGP product would be necessary, but for anyone else, PhoneDevil really is the perfect iPhone protector.

It was surprisingly easy to put it on the screen of my ipod. I just washed my hands, spritzed them with the solution, spritzed the screen protector as I peeled it off the backing, and positioned it on the screen. I was about a millimeter off but it's not hanging over any edges.
Squeegeeing it took a matter of seconds, then the whole thing looked perfect.
The hardest part was waiting 12 hours to turn the ipod back on.

My IT guy husband burned through the one by accidently holding it sticky side up when he peeled off tab #1 and the thing immediately became covered in lint.
But on his second try, it was amazing. He showed me the final result and I couldn't even tell there was a cover on the glass. It's a perfect fit - it lined up perfectly with the openings and there are no bubbles. I am truly impressed.
I think they include multiple pieces because they figure you're going to mess up one on the first try.

(More customer reviews)This is a nice looking screen protector but its junk. It lasted about a week on my phone and I always have my phone on me. I don't think that by sticking a phone in my hoody pocket should scratch the screen protector but it did! I then replaced it with another one and while i was placing it on the phone and trying to smooth the bubbles out the card that you smooth it out with scratched it too, I was not pushing hard either! Then when I decided to just leave it and deal with the scratches all over the thing, I saw that another layer could be peeled off other than the one they tell you to take off in the instructions, so I peeled it off and revealed a very shiny nice protector for all of about 5 minutes! I do not recommend this product, it scratches too easily.

(More customer reviews)I really like the product... I just wish I was told this was for an iPhone. Now that I look at the picture, I feel stupid. I hopped onto their website, and it turns out that they make almost all of their stuff for iPhones. I'm really regretting the purchase now. I could've used that money towards a better fitting protector. I had to cut this down to size so it fit in my case since it wasn't fit for my iPod... So, you've been warned.
So, as far as how it works, It's okay... It does this rainbow thing, which is okay, I don't like it, but, whatever. I got a mirror protector, and it works good as a mirror, and it's a decent protector. I should've just put that money towards that invisible shield... I wouldn't be regretting that. Oh, well, live and learn.
So yes, I'm not too impressed. Price and quality don't always go hand in hand, just so you know.

(More customer reviews)It really does work as a mirror. You can check your teeth, lipstick, over your shoulder, whatever with this.
Because of the reflectiveness, though, you end up with HIGH glare outdoors/bright conditions. It makes anything text based VERY hard to use. But it does act as a privacy shield as well, meaning viewing your screen from other angles becomes difficult. Not impossible, but harder, anyway.
Also, it seems to streak a lot more than an anti-glare protector.
So, if those are features that sound okay, then this is your product. I like mine fine, my husband despises it, and much prefers the matte protectors. So there you are.
