(More customer reviews)I have had this phone for a month now. It replaced a Verizon cell that was costing me $50.00 a month ($10.00 of which were Taxes), $600.00 a year.. I average 250 minutes a month useage. Now for $200.00 for the YEAR, I received 1500 minutes added with the Double Minutes for life totaled 3000 minutes. That is 250 minutes a month at less than $17.00 a month! The reception is good , the voice quality is good, the texting is good and the Bluetooth works with my U-Connect Bluetooth phone system built nto my car's audio system (2010JEEP Wrangler). I can,using the U-Connect Bluetooth system, make VOICE ACTIVATED CALLS on this phone. It has a host of other features...calender, camera etc... This is a GREAT BUY.

Net10 Service The Net10 pay-as-you-go wireless service offers all local, long distance and roaming calls at one low price of 10 cents per minute. There are no contracts, credit checks, monthly fees, security deposits, activation or deactivation charges, or age restrictions.
All Net10 handsets have a display that shows the actual airtime balance on the phone's display for ease of tracking usage. Phone Features The clamshell LG 600G has an internal LCD screen with a 128 x 160-pixel resolution and support for 65K colors, and it's complemented by an external screen (96 x 64 pixels, 65K colors) that displays current time, battery life, signal strength, and incoming calls. The internal phonebook can store up to 1000 contact entries, and it supports multiple numbers per contact entry as well as caller groups.
Handsfree communication is easy thanks to the integrated speakerphone. This phone also provides Bluetooth wireless connectivity (version 2.0), and includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, and file transfer.
Support for basic text messaging and multimedia messaging (MMS) are built into the 600G. When used in combination with the phone's built-in camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. The T9 predictive text entry technology is built into the unit, which makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.

LG 620G Prepaid Phone (Net10) Review

(More customer reviews)After an atrocious experience with T-mobile I moved my family onto several pre-paid phones from different providers so that we would have time to decide exactly what we wanted before signing another contract. I have to say that after 3 months on pre-paid service, we are unlikely to go back to a contract.
I picked up the LG620G after reading several good reviews. It does have some nice features: compatible with micro SD cards (only 2g), an mp3 player and radio (the radio requires external antenna), a decent size screen and a few aps installed, also usable as a data phone. It's a clam shell design, so it is small and easy to carry and the screen is protected.
Net10's plans are pretty reasonable: 10 cents/ minute or Net10 has a $25/ month plan which includes data and text.The bad:
It is a somewhat cheesy looking plastic phone; not the worst, but not the best either.
Many of the features are clunkly to use. The first time I tried browsing with it I was told I had to log into my phone. I still have not figured out how to read email on an external website with it. (The data usability was so bad that I stopped using it after and hour or so of playing around to see what it could do).
It has a usb connection but does not come with a cable (or car charger). The cable can be purchased separately, but I have not yet found a car charger for it.
To use the mp3 player you need to move the music onto your micro sd card using an adapter (also not supplied). Using the card is also awkward, as it sits under the battery inside the phone, not in an external slot.
Regards the service: I read a review of net10 which said that service is great, unless you put "customer" inf front of it. The folks I have spoken with at customer service are nice, but not very capable. Some have good command of English and some, not so. (Their customer service is in the Dominican Republic). I have not been able to buy minutes online, over the phone (either cell or land). There's a problem with whoever processes their credit cards, such that I was told it was denied, when the card companies said it was not. I now have hundred of $ "pending" hanging in suspension, and ultimately had to go out and buy a physical card to use the phone. My reception, clarity... is better than T-mobile, but not as good as either what my son gets on his At & T LG Prime Prepaid GoPhone (AT&T) with $50 Airtime Credit or what my daughter gets with Virgin Mobile.
Ultimately I wish I had gotten myself an LG prime. The screen is larger, and it is a touchscreen. it has an external memory card slot and takes up to 16g cards. It has better reception, getting signals where I can't. At&T customer service is much easier to deal with. Most significantly, it cost half as much (or less on one I bought black Friday week). At& T has a plan which is *identical* to net 10s, a straight 10 cents/ minute. Their flat rate is now $2/ day unlimited (which is on the high end).
I would recommend this phone only if you are already on net10, have credit you do not want to lose, and are otherwise happy with their service. The 10 cent /minute plan is great for those of us who do not use a cell much (for others I would recommend Virgin mobile).
I am staying with net10 for the time being because I paid $40 for this phone (which is too much for 2 months worth of use. However, I wish I had bought the LG prime instead and if we stay with pre-paid, I likely will ultimately pick one of those up.

Tracfone LG LG800G with Double Minutes for Life Review

(More customer reviews)The LG 800G cell phone is the first touch screen offered by TracFone, and in my opinion, the best TracFone yet offered. But don't look for it on LG's website - you won't find it. It is a special prepaid model for TracFone/Net10 only. I don't even find it listed overseas.
I have had mine for about four weeks. It is not a full smart phone, more like half-smart, when compared to something like the iPhone. It doesn't have accelerometers, it doesn't have WiFi, and you only have limited capability to change orientation of the screen.
But at only $50 or less, it is a very good value for the features it does have - a very good cell phone -- with a music player, HD camera (stills and video), external memory (optional), data cable (optional), a qwerty keyboard app, texting, and included apps for games, alarm clock, stop watch,voice recorder, calendar, memo pad, tasks list, scientific calculator, and World clock. And, you can add hundreds of your own apps, provided they are java apps.
You can surf the internet and access your email and text message - all costing you minutes. I personally don't have anything important enough to pay for cell phone internet connect time and downloads. But if you do, you can do it with the LG 800G.
While the external memory (microSDHC card), and USB data cable, are not included, you should consider them essential and buy them. The reason is that it is much cheaper to download apps to your computer and transfer it to the LG 800G by data cable. The data cable must be a USB-typA to a micrUSB-typeB. The data cable can only access the microSD card (external memory) and not the internal memory.
You can also use Bluetooth to connect to a Bluetooth headset, or to transfer files to/from a computer (if it the computer also has bluetooth.) You can set file transfer to be either to internal memory or to external memory. The LG 800G comes with double-minutes-for-life, and if you catch Home Shopping Network just at the right time, they occasionally have triple-minutes for life. The cost per minute is around ten cents, and even less.
The LG 800G has just too many features to discuss here. You will find the TracFone User guide that comes with the LG 800G to be pretty basic -- mostly devoted to activating the phone. You will want to access the TracFone LG 800G on-line Tutorial. There is no link on the TracFone website to the tutorial but you can find it, and the best user forum/blog, by Googling "TracFone LG 800G Tutorial." The top three or four hits should take you to the tutorial and to the Turk Forum LG 800G discussion.
All in all, I very much like the LG 800G, and would recommend it to a friend. My favorite app is the music player, which also has an equalizer and Bass Boost. With a good stereo headset, especially one that also receives calls, it is as good as it gets.
