(More customer reviews)This is a great case but it is for the "HTC MyTouch" and not the newer "3G" model. If you look at OtterBox's website, they do not even produce a "HTC myTouch 3G Commuter Case". If you have the older MyTouch model without the 3.5mm headphone jack on the top then buy this case, you'll love it.

(More customer reviews)I received the screen guard and put it on my phone easily. First thing I noticed, my screen seemed to have darkened significantly. It was a little weird but no bid deal, until I went outside.
In the sun this thing is horrible, it is impossible to see anything on the screen. It reflects the sun light so bad the phone is almost useless outside. Even in my car I have to put it in the shade to see what's on my phone. I gave it two stars because it works decent indoors but I would not recommend you buy this screen guard.

BoxWave T-Mobile myTouch 3G Armor Case - The Metal Case (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)This case fits my phone perfectly, and doesn't feel cheap like the gel or snap on types I initially tried. The description says there is "foam" to hold the phone in place, but it's more like neoprene and it lines the inside back of the case completely. The button and clip are pretty solid, the button fits a RAM windshield mount with belt clip attachment [search [...]]. Two issues in the "could use improvement" column: (A) dropping an aluminum case will bend the hinge from time to time and will render the clamshell closure useless & (B) the latch on this thing could be a little more secure- it feels like it could pop open while on your belt causing the phone to fall out. Overall, from what I've found out there, this is still probably the best case currently available for the MT3G.

Also I had a difficult time texting with certain buttons along the edge. Its not completely able to put on the dark effect and its harder to use touch screen.

I tried the case out for a few weeks, and I ended up having to use electrical tape just to get the case to stay on! It got to the point where it was just too annoying to keep putting the case on and changing the tape and it didn't do much to protect my phone. I opted to use the carrier and it's a million times better! I keep it clipped on the inside of my purse and it works like a charm. I recommend this package if you're looking for a good deal (like the screen protector, clip, and car charger). Just don't expect much from the case!
