It has a GREAT 3 layer protective covering case made of rubber and plastic i have dropped it a few times jsut as a test and man the things is amazing . the screen film protector was my worry when i purchased the case originally . but it holds true just as the rest of the case . This product was so good i wound up buying an otterbox case for my blackberry storm , my wifes blackberry curver and my wifes ipod . i 100% recommend this case

(More customer reviews)Do not buy this screen protector. This is the worst screen protector for the iPod Touch 2g. First, they put two pieces of tape on the screen protector that when you peel them off, don't come off easily. It tears the tape and you have to scrape it off. It leaves glue on the edges of the screen protector which looks horrible. I tried to wipe it off and it just made it worst. Do yourself a favor and don't spend the $5.00. It is not worth it.

Apple Ipod Touch 2nd Gen Red Rubber feel Protector Case Faceplate Cover Review

(More customer reviews)I got this case in the mail, opened it up, and I saw this amazing red looking case. I took it out of the packaging and put it right on my ipod. It looks great, although the case doesn't look like the one in the picture. It is a deep red and smooth looking. It is a rubberized back and creates this cool looking effect with the light. It is a bit heavy, but it does go around the whole ipod, which is nice.
The edge where the 2 pieces connect it a bit sharp, but nothing that you would notice that much.
It is a thick case and makes me feel like it's protected the whole time.
Even though the case snugs right up to the screen, you still have access to the whole screen.

(More customer reviews)This product is perfect for the iPod Touch 2nd Gen. Removing it is enough and putting it on is a snap :)
You would want to remove it to allow the iPod to sit in a dock and it seems the other protective covers are too cumbersome to remove. I have two other cases and they are a PITA to remove, even the one that the bottom 1/4 comes off (Griffin). This case keeps the iPod slim with protection where one would want it...on the back. Dropping my iPod isn't an issue, because if I do drop it, NONE of the cases made for it will protect it enough to keep it from denting or breaking anything. The case is snug as a bug in a rug.

Bodyguardz iPod Touch 2G/3G Screen and Back Protectors 2PK Review

(More customer reviews)I bought my iPod Touch 2g used, and it had a BodyGuardz shield preinstalled on the back. I installed a ZAGG invisibleShield on the front, and it only lasted a short time before it became damaged. I decided to use BodyGuardz on the front this time, and I'm really glad I did. It looks nicer, as there is barely a hint of orange-peel effect (which is pronounced with the invisibleShield). By sight and touch, you're hard-pressed to tell you have a screen protector on at all. I don't think BodyGuardz claims to have the "self-healing" properties of the invisibleShield, but twice I've noticed light scratches or marks that were gone later. Since I only installed the front myself, I can only speak in terms of that, but I found it easy to apply. At first there was a somewhat cloudy appearance and a few remaining bubbles, but just as the instructions say, they were gone the next day. I think following the directions is key, as well as patience. Find a clean, dust-free area to work in, when you can take your time and not be interrupted. I think you'll be happy with the results.

Plastic Crystal Hard Case for iPod Touch 2G & 3G - Clear Review

(More customer reviews)i got this a few months ago. the whole thing came in a plastic bag. 2 pieces. a back made of hard plastic and a front made with a flexible type of plastic. the back feels like the back of 3g iphone and with the case on its almost the same size. it looks like the griffin one but only cheaper since i dont have it i cant tell you the difference. the two piece comes together fairly easy and fits the ipod very well.i've dropped it a few times and it holds up pretty well but i still dont feel safe with this case on. i had to clean it everyday. some particles and dust can get through the space for the volume button so there will be some debris on the back of the ipod within a few days and you have to take the top cover off in order to clean the front of the ipod since the front covers the edge. it does however protect ipods from getting scratches. my ipod still looks brand new. i bought this case so i wont get any finger prints on the back but i just found out a new product called invisible shield that does the same thing and it works very well. i would get this to get this to protect ipod and prevent scratches or fingerprints. if you have more money i recommend you get the griffin version. if you only want to not get fingerprints or scratches, just get a full cover like zagg invisible shield, Clear Armor, BodyGuardz, or SwitchEasy (takes wayy less space). i just got the invisble shield and now i dont use this case anymore.
