(More customer reviews)This is a great case. This is the second one i have ordered (just like the yellow accent). Very rugged. You can rest easy handling your investment as long as it's in this thing. I have dropped mine onto asphalt too many times to count, and no problems with the phone at all. I must admit, when I first got the iphone into the case, I noticed that the screen protector adheres to the face of the iphone giving it an oily appearance. This is the most common complaint about this particular case, but I have found the fix for this. Baby powder. I know this sounds crazy, but it works flawlessly. There is a really good video on youtube on how to apply it. This completely fixes the problem. Because of this little fix, I now give this product 5 stars. Contrary to some reportings, this case IS NOT waterproof. However, It does a darn good job protecting it from splashes, light rain, dust, etc. If you are looking for extreme protection, look no further.

Griffin Wave Interlocking Case for iPhone (Green and Black Translucent) Review

(More customer reviews)I used to have a silicone cover for my ipod and I didn't like it because it always picked up fuzz and hair. The Wave case is made up of completely smooth hard plastic but has a finish that doesn't show prints. Both cases in the duo-pack come with hard plastic screen protectors which work REALLY well with the touch screen (the screen is still very sensitive and even with the hard plastic is very accurate.) Everyone who has seen the case on the phone is impressed with how it looks and how it doesn't add too much thickness.
Why four stars and not five? The assembly process is a little difficult. It was a two man job apparently, and we had to hold the phone with buffing cloths to keep out dust and oil and then slip the protector sheet and the two sides of the phone in the right order. It took a few minutes to finagle the pieces together, and I was a little apprehensive about forcing hard plastic on a very fragile phone. However, my 3G has been in its case since the second day i got it, and I have a feeling it's going to look brand new for a LONG time.

(More customer reviews)I love my Otterbox. I specifically got the black and white because it reminded me of Star Wars Stormtroopers. I love the soft feel of the rubber casing and the peace of mind knowing that my investment is well-protected. I've dropped it a few times and it's lived up to its claims.
Another reviewer mentioned the white being a bad choice for keeping clean of makeup stains but i have had no problems. Everything that gets on it wipes right off. I think girlfriend wears too much makeup!
Would definitely recommend and buy again. The only draw-back is that the black inner case is molded around the power in-put at the bottom such that only mac wires with their small size and rounded edges will fit. I had to dump my generic square ones. Oh well, less chance to burn out the battery with cheap cords.

iSkin Solo FX Jelly Case for iPhone 3G and 3GS (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)iSkin has had a good reputation in producing form-fitting cases without adding much bulk. They had a good run with the iSkin Solo with various translucent and solid colours. Then they moved on the the iSkin Solo FX which had glossy translucent candy-themed colours. It was too much for teenagers and females which obviously is their main market.
I wrote to them a few months back asking for a translucent black and white coloured iSkin Solo and someone from iSkin Toronto, Ontario replied with:

"We currently do not have any new updates or news with regards to releasing new colors or designs for the iSkin solo line.
We shall however, take your comments and suggestions into consideration and hopefully we can release new designs and colors more to your liking in the near future.
Thank you for your kind understanding and patience regarding this matter."

I may not be the only one who gave them product suggestions, but I'm glad to know that they do listen. The third iSkin iPhone case is the iSkin Solo FX SE which carries on the tacky mirror screen protector, but incorporates a translucent black case in matte finish. No more eye-catching glossy colours. Now we have a more grown-up iPhone case.
It's not as loud as the previous iSkin Solo cases. Putting on the black matte case against the black iPhone and white matte against the white iPhone gives is a nice feel without the look at my tacky iPhone attention-grabbing case. But it's unmistakably an iSkin with it's circle pattern at the back.
CONS:
- I still wish they produce a translucent black without the circle or whatever pattern they come up with so even grown ups can give their case a second look.
- Why a mirror screen protector? How about a matte screen cover similar to the Power Support product to complement the matte backing.
OVERALL:
Expensive price, but a good alternative in protecting your iPhone investment especially if you locked yourself into a 2-year or 3-year contract just to upgrade to the 3GS.

(More customer reviews)When I bought my iphone in mid-October there were no protectors available locally and I had been burned enough on protectors for my ipods to know that I didn't want to buy one without actually seeing and holding it. After weeks went by and I couldn't find one, I finally took a chance on this one. I did have a couple of good reasons: 1)I liked the easel feature because-- well, I watch movies and television shows on my iphone when I have to wait somewhere and 2) I was told by a more experience iphone owner that if the iphone is dropped the black tends to chip on the edge so I wanted hard case protection.
The clear touch screen cover does not seem to decrease the sensitivity or the brightness of the touch screen. It is a pain to get on though. Read instructions and have a credit card handy to try to get rid of the inevitable bubbles by pushing them to the edge.
After the touch screen is covered, the hard case simply snaps together around the phone. It stays together under ordinary use and abuse such as banging around loose in a handbag. I didn't feel the urge to do any drop tests.
However, it doesn't have a belt clip so if part of your image requires wearing it on your belt this case won't work for you. Also when the case is on the iphone won't fit in the charger stand. However, it is easy enough to unplug the USB cord from the charger stand and plug it directly into the iphone for charging and data transfer.

(More customer reviews)I, like many others, have been searching for the perfect case and this is definitely at the top of my list. I have about five cases for my iPhone and two of them are the iSkin solo FX (pink and clear frost). The great thing about this case is that it's hard enough to protect from scratches and it has enough cushion to protect from falls. The back material is a bit difficult to explain but I'll try my best.. It has a nice soft feel to it, doesn't hold onto fingerprints, doesn't show scratches like my speck seethru and speck candyshell cases do, and its able to slide in and out of pockets easily. The back may not have a lot of grip but the material that runs along the sides sure does. It is more of like grippy, hard silicone so if you were to place your phone face down on a flat or slanted surface it wouldn't be sliding around anytime soon. Also, the lip around the case does cover the chrome part of the phone, which some people like and others aren't so fond of. There is an opening for the vibrate switch (Unfortunately, the opening is a bit small unless you have nails or small fingers). However, the buttons that are covered (volume and power) work quite nicely, unlike other cases where the buttons are difficult to push when covered.

I pre-ordered and just received my IPhone 4 from Verizon today! I wanted something that would protect the whole body of the phone, not just the rubber bumper that Apple was providing--this just seemed really ineffective and pointless! I bought the purple case because of how bright the color was, but all the colors are pretty vibrant, so either one would suffice! I love the tight fit around it and the whole fact that it stays on!! I have a Speck Case for my Ipod touch and while it's really cute, the thing constantly snaps off! I am a fan of the pocket insert with a bottom cap to lock everything into place! I did order the Splash Masque screen protectors to go along with it as well, but unfortunately it didn't fit correctly with this case...I guess I can use them for a rainy day, when the case isn't on and I'm in my room or something--I don't plan on taking the case off! There is a screen protector that does come with the case, so this is what tops off this great deal! This is definitely a MUST HAVE!! Get one in every color for that matter! I love it, especially how soft it feels! GREAT BUY!
