(More customer reviews)I've been the biggest fan of Zagg until a few weeks ago. The screen protector I got for my iPhone 3G protected my phone well, came well packaged, with good instructions, etc.
The iPhone 4 cover on the other hand is a totally different animal.
1) the instructions are printed in a 2x2 piece of paper and they are completely generic, probably works with any stick on cover, so essentially no real instructions
2) came in essentially a paper envelope with the "covers" and a separate plastic bag with the "squeegee" and spray. The plastic bag looked like someone had sealed the sides by using a candle, packaging looked worthy of a $3 product, not a $25 one.
3) the "maximum protection" just means that you get a few little strips that you can paste around the phone. The strips are not the right size (all were too narrow and a little shorter than needed): probably a result of designing this product before the iPhone 4 was out
4) "maximum protection" leave still leaves all of the glass edges, the bottom of the phone (completely) and many other parts of the phone unprotected
5) They got stingy with the spray! really, the stuff is barely enough if you don't spray for the side strips and not enough at all otherwise. If you get a wrong application and have to re-apply: well you'll be asking for more spray from Zagg customer support
6) My attempt to correct an address on my Zagg order ended up with one call to some sort of VOIP driven customer service center which was too busy to handle my call and then a sequence of 5+ different emails asking me to send $2.95 more for shipping (this was a result of my error but the customer support mechanism is terrible).
7) The $2.95 above to get a new one sent is probably their actual cost to make this looking at the packaging and the presentation: knowing how well Zagg products were previously packaged (with ample spray stuff etc), this is really disappointing.
8) The spray evaporates in like a second (literally), so getting the things on is pure torture, be prepared to dedicate 30 mins of your life and 100% of your attention and you will still have an imperfect application
So, bottom line, now that I have it on the phone what do I think: well it covers most of the front and back of the phone well so scratches in those areas will probably be protected from, but I still need a cover for the edges since "maximum coverage" did nothing.
Disappointing from a company that I used to be a big fan of.EDIT: and yes, the strips break at each of the antenna "junctions" on the phone and don't fully insulate from the hand touching the antenna, therefore NOT a solution to the iPhone 4 antenna issues.
