(More customer reviews)The case I received was broken (one of the tabs that holds it to the face of the phone was missing) but you can tell as soon as you touch it that this is not another 5 dollar Ebay case. It's not a painted case, it's actually molded with the colored plastic so the edges are uniformly colored. Good texture: not smooth, but not too grippy for sliding in and out of your pocket. Very thin compared to the cheap cases and it fits perfect; no gaps or tight corners. It's a bummer that I got a defective unit, but I'm patient and Amazon is amazing with their returns, so it's all good.
About the color: The picture here and on Seidio's website make this case look yellow-gold; they're way off. It's less yellow and more bling-bling gold, if you know what I mean. Not shiny bling like a rapper's new grill, but more like an old gold chain that hasn't been cleaned in a while. Normally when I see cell phone cases this color, they're bedazzled with dollar signs and the word "PIMP". Not my style, I'll definitely be ordering a different color.
