(More customer reviews)I got this case and liked it at first, but I've only had my phone and the case since November 29, 2009. Less than 40 days later, the rubberized rim is separating from the hard shell. Also, the thin hard plastic part of the shell below the phone's button has broken in two places. The case is losing its snug form around the phone.
My phone has never been dropped, so the case has not suffered any blunt force. I carry my phone in my left front pocket by itself, so nothing else could have damaged the case.
It does have thicker plastic than other cases and I like that it is see through, but being see through also has a drawback as dust collects between the case and the phone and is visible.
I'm indifferent about the rubberized buttons of the case that cover the iPhone volume control and lock. The rubberized buttons not seem to hinder the function of phone's buttons, but they stick out more than the actual buttons on the phone without the cover.
Speck may have other cases that last longer, but I would not recommend this product.
