(More customer reviews)The Skinomi screen protector/full body kit sounds ideal, however it is not. I thought that the "easy" installation and self-repairing of minor scratches would be ideal so I decided to try this product.
Firstly, it took forever the item to arrive, and then when it did arrive they had sent the wrong skin (it was for a completely different phone). I e-mailed them and asked for them to send the correct one via over night delivery, as I did not want to wait any longer (the longer you wait, the more likely your screen will get damaged while waiting). You are buying the screen guard to protect your screen, so you need it quickly! Then they sent the full body skin instead of the just the screen guard I ordered, but again this took forever. I did not want the full body kit, I just wanted what I had ordered in an acceptable time frame. The customer service is extremely bad.
When I applied the skin to the phone, I followed their directions precisely, and what a mess! They say clean with a lint free cloth, but do not provide one. They then have you apply fluid to the skin for the phone and the phone itself, then put the skin over. The so called "squeegee" they ship is just a piece of flimsy plastic which does not push bubbles and fluid anywhere. You are supposed to push the bubbles to the side, avoiding any holes in the skin for things like the speaker and camera, but that is almost impossible. Finally, when you have all bubbles removed, you have to leave it to dry for 12-24 hours (or longer!), and then when you come back you find several large bubbles have appeared under the skin that are filled with the application fluid. At this point you cannot remove them, and when the phone is turned on the new large bubbles distort everything on the screen behind those bubbles. The box says micro bubbles will disappear, but large bubbles will not go away.
The full body kit pieces are numerous, they bend them around edges and over bumps (such as the side parts to the camera lens), and then try to make them join together. These end up leaving your phone looking like something you put together with scotch tape, seriously detracting the esthetic quality of your phone.
The screen guard itself is also very "tacky", making it difficult to slide your finger over the screen with any touch screen phones.
Overall, I would really like to give this product zero stars, but Amazon does not allow that.
The customer service is bad, they do not listen to you, they just give what they think is the easiest fix for them without considering the customer.
The product is a piece of c**p, the full body kit will make your phone look like trash, and you will end up with bubbles everywhere no matter whether they are fully removed or not. So do not waste your money.
