(More customer reviews)This screen protector may be thicker than you imagined...it's more like a thin sheet of plastic than a protective film. Without a doubt, you lose stylus sensitivity at the cost of achieving a more durable protective covering. Oddly, it creates a trampoline effect at the center of my screen with a greater loss of touch/sensitivity than at the outer edges. This was quite annoying at first, and now I've finally adjusted to the different sensation.
The produt also claims to "Improve Handwriting Recognition." If so, it's barely recognizable for such a strong claim. I still have trouble with my device recognizing the following letters: u, v, w, n, m. I didn't notice much, if any, improvement with "recognition" or the "anti-glare" feature for this screen protector. I did notice less dust accumulation, and it does seem a bit easier to wipe clean.
My son also recently took my Pocket PC for a dip in water - totally submerged it in the toilet! The screen protector was still intact and retained it's adhesion, since I peeled back a corner to see if the visual water damage might be water trapped behind the film...no such luck. As a result, there is now slightly less adhesion at the edges of where it was pulled back. The manufacturer claims that the film can be removed and reused, but I'm skeptical of this claim...based on my experience.
Overall, it's quite an effective product, and certainly better than not having any screen protection. It maximizes scratch protection. But, personally, I'd rather have a thinner film that maintains greater stylus sensitivity. The thinner films are also sold 4-6 per package, versus this Clear Touch Screen Protector that comes one (1) to a package. I've wondered if this product might be thinner if you buy it without the "anti glare" feature? Worth looking into.
