I didn't buy this phone from Amazon, rather, I got it through AT&T. I just wanted to leave a review of the actual phone on here since I tend to trust Amazon reviews more than most other sites...
This phone was pretty cool when I first got it...easy to use, touch screen was awesome, slide out QWERTY key pad was really useful, and with the USB connection, I could easily move pictures and songs from my computer to the phone. It also lets you use mp3 clips as ringtones, which I thought was pretty neat!
Then after about a year, I wasn't able to send picture messages anymore, and occassionally wasn't able to send out normal text messages. I called AT&T support, who told me that resetting the phone (turning it off, taking battery out ofr 30 seconds, then restarting) would fix the texting issue. This normally worked, but after a few days, I'd have to do it again. I thought that was annoying, but at least there was a fix, although temporary.
As of April 2011, I've had the phone for 1.5 years, and the touch screen completely died, at no fault of my own. The phone is now pretty much useless now, since you can't access your contacts without the touch screen, so I can't make calls (unless I have the phone numbers memorized), and can't text or receive texts since you have to touch "read" to open incoming texts first. Since I've had it over a year, it's no longer under warranty, but I'm still stuck in my 2-yr contract, so I have to order a replacement phone and pay full price.
So, save your money people! This phone isn't worth the hassle!
