"I have had this phone for a few days and I love it!
The keyboard is excellent, especially for being my first QWERTY keyboard.(yes,i had the suckiest phone ever,it was a samsung edge) You also have the ability to use the "old fashioned"(which was on my EDGE) keypad which you can use the traditional or handwriting.
The touch screen is very easy to use. It responds to both a finger and a stylus, which is nice if you don't like fingerprints on your screen. The screen also vibrates when you touch it so that you know that you have actually made a selection.
The volume could be slightly louder, but after you hear it a few times, you do get used to it. You also can't put a "text tone" for individuals, but you CAN do individual ringtones.(yes, Umm confusing)
Though I don't think this is a negative, some people may. There are three "home/idle" screens and you are only able to use a photo or background for one of them. However, there are three selections to choose from for the other two and I don't find them to be that ugly.
In order to use the internet, you need a data plan, which isn't required with purchase of the phone. Also, some of the "Apps" are not able to be removed from the phone.
The phone's navigation is really simple. I figured it out within about five minutes. The lock can sometimes come unlocked by itself because the unlock "button" is touch and on the front of the phone.
Other than the few "negatives" of the phone, I think that anyone would be able to use it and would find it both great for texting and talking. This is basically a LESS EXPENSIVE VERSION OF THE IPHONE."
