Note that by default it comes with a hard plastic cover on the front and you can't touch-control thru it, so I had to tear it off because I wanted to touch-control while the case was closed. (It was designed to open like a book, it which case you would then use the touch screen). When I want to do a lot of typing, I open the case to access the keys easier. Also I suspect it gets slightly less signal strength when the case is closed (it is afterall a metal case), but if I'm in a really bad reception area, I just quickly take it out. Also I love the belt clip, I use it all the time (occasionally the screw-in clip on the back gets loose, so be careful. I will put some loc-tite on it when I get a chance). The case initially feels kinda cheap because its so light-weight. But it is aluminium after all (what do you want a solid-steel case?!). So in conclusion, overall it is a great option for those of us dinosaurs who still have a 1st gen iPhone and want a hard-case.
