The protective cover snaps on and stays on with no loose ends, I know this because it took more effort taking the cover back off than putting it on. The screen protector is better than what I expected for the price, I improperly align the screen protector 4-5 times, about the 4th time the adhesive was malformed and I had lint and other stuff on it but I sprayed an LCD cleaning solution to the adhesive side and scrubbed the junk off with the cloth they provided, the lint and small artifacts came right off, the cloth and LCD cleaning solution reformed the adhesive layers instead of removing the adhesive to my surprise so it all went well. The case is closed by magnets sewn inside of the material. I guess if you want the pouch to me more secure you can add some velcro or put on whatever creative stuff you come up with. My Rumor Touch with the protective cover fits in the case very snug so even if the case magnetic flap closure opens up if I come in contact with a metal surface, the cell phone should still stay put since it does take a bit of force to push the phone up out of the pouch with two fingers from the bottom hole in the case. This unit is all black so, you can pretty much add any of your own art designs on it and it will stand out from the black background. The car charger specs is a universal one for micro USB plugs, it has an IC chip built into it to switch from 600 mah to 1100 mah charging rates. Basically this means, it can charge/operate any other phone or GPS unit using a micro USB plug. The charger alone is worth the price of the whole package. The cover like all rubberized hard plastic covers, the rubber will eventually come off. You can go to any auto parts store or even here on amazon and order/buy a can of "plastic dip" to rubberize it again make sure you pick the color you want. Make the color yellow or maybe even blaze orange if you tend to misplace your cell phone often. Easier to see those colors.
