-Matte surface so it's easy to grip
-Fold-away stand so it can be propped up for hands-free viewing
-Lip over the screen so it can be face down without coming into contact with the surface it's on
-Exposed volume and power button so it's easier to push them
-Exposed charging port so it can be charging in case
-Removable bottom portion so it can be plugged straight into a docking station
-2 screen protectors included
I've only had one other case (speck candyshell) and loved it until I found I was using the phone's apps so much that it was putting a lot of extra strain on my hands to hold it constantly, and I wanted to prop it up while doing something else, but it's slippery surface made this difficult. I also wanted to find a case that had the power off button and volume buttons exposed, as I had to push really hard on them because they were covered in the old case. I got mine on ebay since Amazon wasn't selling it. Not sure how good it will be in the event of drops since I just got it, but it feels similar to the speck case in durability, and my phone survived 5 or 6 drops in that one, so I'm hopeful.
