When applied with a perfectly clean surface, they fall into place and adhere almost on their own - hard to describe without sounding far fetched.... The result is arguably a nicer view of your screen rather than hindering your view. You definitely can not tell it's there. It's also extremely good at resisting scratches. I've had these for a while and recommend them to everyone who will listen.
