My old Touch Pro screen got really scratched up within a few months but my new one lasted 6 months so far with not a single scratch under the same conditions. I must say though, you need to be EXTREMELY careful when applying it. Clean your hands, device and apply in a dust free environment. You need to apply quickly but carefully as dust in the room seems to be attracted to the underside of the film. I screwed up the first one, but the second one turned out great.
I recently lost my phone and got a replacement but bought the "Zagg invisibleShield" screen guard instead. Definitely like the Seido Screen Guard way better. The "invisibleShield" doesn't have the same texture as the original screen so my stylus "sticks" to the screen when you drag it across. You can't tell the Seido guard is there at all.
I don't know why the other reviewer said you can't charge the device. I think he is reviewing the wrong product. This screen guard allows for 100% functionality and does not come anywhere near the charging port.
