(More customer reviews)I have had the Boxwave Armor case for about a month and yesterday it proved its value. I had forgotten the phone on my lap when getting out of the car, as soon as I stood up my phone dropped and slid screen first down my concrete driveway. To my surprise there was no damage to the phone and a minor scrape on the case. Even though the screen is gorilla glass I am sure the concrete would have done some damage, and $30 is a price I am willing to pay to not find out. There are a few more reasons that I like this case, it is lined with foam so the phone fits snuggly (the phone fits snug enough that it will not fall out of the case even if the front cover is open and the case is held upside down) and helps in the shock absorption when the phone is dropped. The case looks more aggressive then the phone by itself. The case is nearly ergonomically identical to the phone and does not add to much size. The front cover of the case opens to provide easy screen cleaning.
The major con to the case is the top notification bar (shows the battery/time/bars/network) is nearly impossible to access when the cover of the phone is closed. The second major con is your phone screen becomes a dust magnet if you choose to put the phone in your pocket. The face of the case is not smooth so there are many places that pocket lint can gather.
