(More customer reviews)I've used a lot of touch screens over the years. Being in IS/IT world has had me using many of these devices on a daily basics. For example, my previous phone was a Windows Mobile 6.5 device. On that phone anything that pressed against the screen could be used as a styles, it even came with a very narrow one that I could never really use properly. So when I started with a new phone I found that it would not accept input from anything other than my finger, which was a problem for both accuracy and the screen filling with finger prints that constantly needed cleaning off. A little bit of research explained the issue at hand I ended up looking for this kind of stylus which completes the contact your finger normally provides. So, that's why I bought this.
It works just as expected. Solves my two issues, accuracy (for the most part) and the finger prints (entirely). My issue is its' size. Only about half the size of my little finger, it is hard to move away from the screen. The tip is fairly large, so accuracy, while improved, is still harder than it needs to be. The microphone plug is a "nice" feature, but ultimately not as helpful to me as it seemed to always be whipping around when not in use and almost dangerous when using the phone as, well, a phone. It was almost comical to bring the phone to my ear only to be hit on the side of the head with this little thing.
For many people this will be just what they are looking for. For myself it was/is fine. I don't regret the purchase and many of my coworkers have picked one up for themselves. It does (really) do what it says it does for phones/tablets that use this kind of capacitive screen. With that said, for myself, I have also added a full pen sized stylus which I use with greater success. But then I have big hands and I want to see the screen as much as possible, not the back of my hand.
