(More customer reviews)This case is a bit thicker than the Shield, but good quality and about the same coverage. It slips easily into the front pocket without much more bulk. The interior is felted to keep it from scratching your phone. It "snaps" on and fits very snug. The pattern is molded into the plastic and the deep red color is not painted on or a decal. I've dropped it twice, once from the car to the concrete. The case kept the phone protected and still looks good even though it's a little nicked on the corner.
