I use it when boating, at the beach or by the pool. No, it is NOT waterproof... but definitely splash resistant. This case will protect your iPhone from drops, putting it in a purse, splashes and wet fingers/hands, etc. If you need extra protection this is the ideal case. It is sort of a puzzle to get on. So older hands may have a problem. Once on it stays there quite well... again, looks great too. Makes the phone larger, so if you'd like a larger phone in the hand feeling, this will help. Comes in many colors, visit the Otter Box web site then search Amazon for a specific color. Amazon has the best prices.
