(More customer reviews)I bought both the Elago and the Shield to try both, based on reviews I had read. The Shield is better. Both are very similar in design, but the Shield includes just a little bit more protection around the sides, has a better tactile feel, and is much better quality. The Elago is a good concept, in that it's virtually unnoticeable for people who want that. The only issue is that it's poorly made and overpriced. Not only did mine come with a production defect (a bubble), but one side had the mold line smoothed down and the other side didn't! Plus, I've heard several stories of the cases cracking altogether. Go for the Shield. Better all around for virtually the same exact design.
