I had purchased her the iPod newest generation the first part of October, and at that time you coundln't find anything like this that wasn't only availabel from Apple. The iPod was just to new back then. I did get her a couple of hard shell cases that broke in not time at all. She is very happy with this and so far I haven't heard anything negative about it and she wouldn't hold back. I do want to also say thay I purchased my grandaughter the previous generation iPod for Christmas and she is thrilled. I purchased one of those Box cover things from Amazon and am happy I did. I has save it from several falls, getting wet, etc..... But, then what should I expect from giving a nine year old an iPod. She love's it. The only thing I noticed was that it was hard for someone to connedt to the internet as the bosx is very heavy duty. We purchased my five year old grandson the new gameboy XL. I also purhcased a heav duty case and it came in a brown gold color that he is thilled about. So, I guess I did OK on some gifts. However, I am going to write some othe posts that I wasn't so happy about, whick surprices me since I raved about the item before as it lasted one and half years and Amazon was the only place I could find that specific design animal.
