(More customer reviews)I have to say when I bought this it was to replace the godsawful powerskin from x-pal. Just to give you an idea of a badly designed and even more thoroughly executed product, go get a powerskin.
However, if you want a really great case, an extended battery that isn't much larger than the original, get the Electra. Only complaint, wish the silicone skins came in more colors than black.
I bought the one that is ice (in other words, clear in the back). Trident did something smart and colored the extended battery red like the back of the Evo. Everything matches and looks pretty nice when seem from the back.
Oh, the stylus that is send from handhendcentral, I had to scratch my head as to what that was for with a touchscreen device. Really no clue.
It's cheaper on Amazon than it is on trident's site.
Pros:
Extended battery
Nice design
Really protects the device with the three-part (snap on front/back and the rubber skin) design
Screen is also covered with PET cover which seals the device but you won't notice the screen as being covered (just make sure to clean the screen and the cover before putting your device in there)
Cons:
The flaps for the earpiece and the battery cover are a bit difficult to open. The earpiece cover flap is designed not to let dust into the jack so it has a small rubber part that goes inside the earpiece jack, however, the good design makes it more difficult to open it easily. I had to use tweezers
Lack of skins for the Electra series (I assume they'll make more when they sell more cases)
