(More customer reviews)I have had this case for about a month now and I must say that it really feels good on my hands and looks really cool. The case is solidly made and the shiny leather-like texture is very nice. It is not soft, looking at the picture i thought it would be, but it feels sturdy and could protect the back of the phone really well.
The front though it leaves totally defenseless. I was using an iFrogz case before and the case extends to the front part of the iPhone and slightly protrudes on the steel bezel around the phone which protects the screen if you put the phone face down or drop it. With this case, the face is totally exposed and no protection at all. Placing your phone on a flat surface, the LCD is the one touching the surface (if you put on the screen protector though then that will be what is touching the surface). But if you drop our phone face down, you have no protection at all. The trade off though is that your phone will look really nice, and isn't thay partly why you bought an iPhone?
