(More customer reviews)This was the cheapest replacement I could find. Well, globaldirectparts.com had one but required a minimum of 2 to purchase. I only needed one. It was fairly simple to replace following videos on you tube. However, I'm not sure if this is AMOLED or SLED, none of the replacements i looked at buying specified. Also, The original screen had two metal-tape screw holders to screw the screen in and the ones on the old screen couldn't be removed without separating the glue and re-gluing. On the old screen there was also a metallic-tape across the bottom portion also missing from this replacement model. I'm not sure if this is whats causing my performance issues.]
*note* these performance issues may be due to the screen but also may be a result of the fall that cracked the original screen*
After replacing the screen, the phone seems to work pretty good most of the time. However, some of the time tapping is non-responsive. Other times if i'm not applying any touch inputs the screen "touches itself" and opens items on its own, most of the time it opens the recent apps menu (equivalent to holding the home button down for 2 seconds).
I'd also like to state that buying the screen here and replacing it yourself is cheaper than paying the 7.95 a month in insurance payments + the $85 smart-phone replacement deductible through Verizon's asurion.
