(More customer reviews)These were the best screen protectors I could find at the time I purchased them in January 2011 (for the HTC Surround). I say this by looking at reviews of the brands available for the HTC Surround screen protectors and reading the reviews of these products for other handhelds (limited reviews for the HTC Surround protectors due to its recent launch).
It's a clear plastic screen protector that is held by static to your screen (it won't come off unless you pull it off). Works great - protects the screen and your touch screen sensitivity is still fine, but installation can be tricky (but no more so than other similar protectors) - and they do include two protectors in case you mess up the first one.
As with all of these type of screen protectors, installation needs to be done carefully.
1)Clean the screen with the enclosed cloth
2)Pull the protector off the backing
3)Try your best to line up the protector with an edge of the phone
4)Lay it down and push the bubbles out with the enclosed small rectangular piece for this purpose (or gently with the your finger and the cleaning cloth)
I found this difficult on the first try - and took long enough that dust accumulate on the protector - creating bubbles that you can't get out. They do include two protectors and I got it on the second one pretty easily.
The protectors cover the full screen (minus an unnecessary notch for your led indicator at the top) - you may want a skin or a case to protect the rest of the device. It does feel different working through the screen protector than directly on the screen (HTC Surround is a touch screen), but only marginally and it doesn't really detract from the ease of use or sensitivity.
